Encounters with money

The NBP Money Centre is Narodowy Bank Polski’s modern education and exhibition facility. Visitors often describe it as an extraordinary time machine in which they can reach ground-breaking places/events related to the history of money and understand economic processes. The fascinating journey begins with an animation titled “Encounters with Money” – if we show patience, we can accumulate a fortune and pile up a proverbial mountain of gold coins, but one careless move is enough and we lose everything! The message of this attention-grabbing “golden” animation should, in the intention of the exhibition’s creators, accompany us not only while visiting successive rooms of the NBP Money Centre, but also in our daily life, which is full of economic decisions.
